Back in the 1970s, I read the teen magazines religiously; they were one of the ways I kept up with teen stars and music. I got my first issue of Tiger Beat when I was six; Jack Wild, then starring on “H.R. Pufnstuf” was my hero at the time. And I kept reading them right through high school. When I finally got rid of most of my back issues (and MAN I really wish I’d kept them today, I would have a FORTUNE to be made on eBay), I took a lot of the music review columns out. Very few of these have dates, and they’re a crap shoot for what’s reviewed, but still, fun to read. And they all fit somewhere between 1973 and 1980. Hope you enjoy them!
