Mitriani “Walks” to the top spot on Hot Hits Chart

This week’s TKR Hot Hits Chart just debuted, and after two weeks in the runner up position, extreme sports superstar Luke Mitrani lands his first TKR #1 hit with “Walk On The Moon” (featuring Lynx). People who think this is a fluke are not familiar with the artist – Mitrani has been recording videos for the “Frendly Presents” YouTube channel for years, and his debut album has now produced two TKR Hot Hits songs, as followup “Make Believe” continues climbing, moving up to #46 this week as well. “Toy” tops Hot Hits Chart for third week

This week’s TKR Hot Hits Chart just debuted, and Netta is sitting firmly on top again with her Eurovision winner, “Toy”, for the third consecutive week. Not to be outdone, Luke Mitrani’s first big TKR hit, “Walk On The Moon“, holds at #2 for a second week, and “The Middle” by Zedd, Maren Morris, and Gray, moves up to #3! This week’s Monster Mover belongs to Troye Sivan with Ariana Grande’s “Dance To This“, which takes a spectacular leap from it’s debut at #67 last week all the way up to #34 – this could be within Top 10 territory

I was at work this afternoon when I opened my email and saw about a dozen bulletins about the passing of Tim Bergling, known the world over as Avicii, and my heart leaped. I came late to the game, but when I got there, I was all in. Remembering Glen Campbell (1936-2017)

We lost country and pop legend Glen Campbell this afternoon after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease; he was 81 years old. He – or rather his celebrity and his music – played a large part in my early life, and was part of what helped to shape my rather eclectic tastes in music.
