ANOTHER NEW YEAR AND STILL MILES BEHIND…

Another new year is here and if you’ve been reading the posts being posted on all our sites, you know that we were struck with a massive computer failure two weeks ago. The last two weeks have been hell, trying to get back up to speed on all the various sites, and TKR has suffered the most. At the time of the crash, I was almost caught up with the charts, and it is my intention to be caught up with all of them by the end of this coming weekend.   Then, once they’re all finished, I will keep them

SITE UPDATE: Still slowly chugging along

We are now in day eight of PNR’s catastrophic system crash, and over the weekend, some slow progress has been made. I did make the discovery that it was NOT hard drive failure that caused the crash, but a power supply failure. So thankfully most of our stuff is still intact, even if I can’t get to it right now. I’ve got about 50 programs to redownload and reinstall now, since Carbonite’s backup was woefully under-supplied – I really need to keep a much closer eye on this. Also, the new machine is giving me all kinds of fits, insisting

Site update: Still chugging along with the rebuild

Well, in case you missed the earlier post, our old PC completely died last Sunday afternoon. It has now been replaced by a much, MUCH more powerful computer – to aid with audio and video projects, I invested in a nice system normally used for gaming purposes. And man, does it ever purrr along… Except when it comes to reinstalling the back up…which is taking FOREVER…. Carbonite tells me “a few days” – at this writing, when I’ve had the new box up and running for over 24 hours, we’re only 6% into the rebuild. And I have been advised

Some exciting things happening as we head towards 2019…

As most of our readers and podcast listeners know, 2018 has been a really tough year on Kim and myself. We’ve both suffered through a number of illnesses, I had to deal with the loss of my mom in May, which began a series of concerning health issues for me as well. And work has been a bear, causing all kinds of disruptions throughout the year. It has been detrimental to the point that we have opted not to have a Poppies and Rosies awards show on New Years’ Eve, simply because neither one of us feel we have seen

BACK FROM OBLIVION…WELL ALMOST ANYWAY

Hi gang!  Sorry it’s been forever since I was able to update stuff here – things have been crazy around here since my last post – both my wife and I got sick – AGAIN – and work has been a hassle, but we’re almost there. All the current TKR charts will be caught up by next weekend, when the Hot 20 will return with new installments. I hope to have some of the rest of the stuff back in circulation soon as well, but research is a bit longer these days due to the hassles YouTube has with stuff,

SO…HEY, TC, WHAT’S BEEN GOING ON?

Hi All, sorry I’ve been a bit lax of late but a few things have been happening here and i’ve been taking some time to reevaluate a few things. First, I’ve been sick the last ten days or so. Nothing serious, but enough to make me want to mostly rest over doing some stuff I should be doing. But mostly, I’ve been stewing. I want to make my site and our YouTube channel something special, to share my music with everyone. And it worked for several months. Then a week ago last Friday, all hell broke loose, and I’m sure
